Our Process
Discovery
Our process begins with an introductory meeting where we establish project goals. Following this, we explore budget alignment through a high-level estimate before moving into a formal agreement.
Pre-Construction
This phase covers all the planning leading up to the start of construction. In pre-construction, we act as a resource to clients and design professionals by providing constructability feedback, progress estimates, and coordination assistance. Our goal is to be integrated into the team as early as possible to lay the groundwork for a smooth and efficient construction project.
Construction
This phase focuses on execution. Our process involves schedule management, budget tracking, quality control, and coordination with trusted trade partners, all supported by consistent communication.
Post-Construction
This final phase ensures the project is complete and fully supported. Along with commissioning and our warranty program, we can provide ongoing maintenance and repair support for the life of the home.

What fee structure does Big Sky Builders use?
We work on a cost-plus basis. This allows our clients to see every invoice and receipt, keeps us aligned as advocates for their resources, and ensures fair compensation for skilled trades.
